In 1962 the Irish Christian Brothers founded the all-boys Damien Memorial School in Honolulu, a Catholic private school honoring the life and service of Saint Damien of Moloka`i. Teaching under the school motto, “Viriliter Age,” the school grew to provide quality education to students from all walks of life. Three years ago they expanded their mission by opening enrollment to girls, a change that has doubled enrollment to over 680 students.
